From the Acting Principal
On Wednesday night, we celebrated with nine of our students who made their Sacrament of Confirmation with Bishop James and Father Joby. Tomorrow night at 6pm, Ally, Ava, Sasha, Gemma, Georgia, Hayley, Lauren, Lindon, Hayley and Savannah will make their First Holy Communion at our Community Mass. Bishop James informed us that he has baptised and confirmed more than 15 000 people so our young people are blessed to be confirmed by Bishop James as he will be retiring next year. Thank you to Mrs Denise McHugh who worked with our students to prepare them for these important sacraments.
This week, we welcomed Noah who is in Year 1 to our Saints’ family. He started his first day watching the spectacular dancing moves of Mrs Brooks and his fellow classmates. Our students are busy preparing for the Dance Concert with Miss Nelle. We hope that everyone will be able to join us on Monday 16th September at the Dance Concert. Thank you to Miss Nelle for teaching our students.
Congratulations to Rudra in Year 6 who has been chosen to play Peninsula Cricket next week. Mr Rayner will be keen to hear about Rudra’s experience when he returns in Week 9. Mrs Sayed presented certificates today to students who had participated in the Fowler’s Group Netball Cup. Congratulations to Sienna, Hayley, Violet, Isabella, Lily, Charli, Kayla, Jasmin and Tully. Thank you to Mrs Sayed for coaching the girls.
Today, we enjoyed celebrating with our Saints’ fathers and grandfathers.

The children enjoyed sharing lunch and playing at lunch time with these special men. Thank you to Goran and Michelle Zonai for preparing the fathers’ day lunch treat. We also celebrated with them at our Father’s Day liturgy. I hope that everyone enjoys spoiling and spending time with our Saints’ dads and grandfathers on Sunday
Best wishes, Michelle Hall Acting Principal
